Mission/Vision

 Our mission is to make followers of Christ… here, there, and everywhere.   We are joining with Christ in the redemption of the world by pointing people to Jesus Christ and teaching them to follow Him, obey him, and join Him in His mission to the world.  Acts 1:8 teaches us that God’s plan for us is to be engaged in this mission both locally (here), regionally (there), and around the world (everywhere).  Our churches are joining with other like-minded churches in the alliance of churches called the Christian and Missionary Alliance to push back the darkness and bring back King Jesus.

Ministry Area

The Metropolitan District serves all of New Jersey, the 5 boroughs of New York City, Long Island and Rockland, Orange, Putnam,  and Westchester Counties of New York. 

The Metropolitan District serves approximately 120 churches with nearly 400 licensed workers.  We are aggressively planting new churches each year.

Strategy

The District strategy to help local churches to achieve this vision is to equip Spiritual Leadership to build Strategic Ministry that will have a Multiplied Impact.  Our website is designed around these three strategic initiatives so pastors can find the resources they need for the mission.
