Metro District of the C&MA

New Worker/Becoming Licensed

Is God calling you to full-time service? Are you interested in serving God in the Metropolitan District? We want to help you connect your passion with God’s purpose.

If you are considering serving in your church, please speak with you pastor first, he can pray with you and direct you in which direction you should take and how to begin. If you sense a call to ministry and would like to pursue an opportunity to serve with the Christian & Missionary Alliance, here are the steps to take:

Becoming Licensed

Steps to becoming licensed with the Metropolitan District:

Step #1 – Establishing a MYCMA Profile at Called2Serve.org
The entire process starts with establishing a MYCMA profile at called2serve.org so that we can get to know you. During this phase you can also get to know about the C&MA, our values and mission. As soon as you finish your ‘Getting To Know You” profile, someone from the C&MA will connect with you. Start the process and establish a MYCMA profile »

Step #2 – Complete the Application for Alliance Ministry
Once you are ready, we will lead you through a formal application process to be accredited for ministry with the C&MA. The Application for Alliance Ministries can be completed at Called2Serve.org, by logging back into your MYCMA profile. This application includes a Doctrinal Questionnaire, Character References, Biographical Inventories, and several other forms.

Step #3 – Accreditation Interview
Following completion of the Application, an accreditation interview by C&MA leadership will take place, where we will assess your character, calling, and readiness for ministry as an Official Worker with the Alliance.

Step #4 - Licensing Process Once you have passed the accreditation interview, you will begin the licensing process if you are already serving at a C&MA church in our district.  The district will notify you of what requirements are needed in your case to get you properly licensed as an official worker.

(Please note that for various reasons, not everyone is approved for vocational service with the C&MA, but we desire to help you find your place in God’s work.)
