Strategic Ministry

Spiritual Leadership must develop a Strategic Plan to accomplish that which God is calling a church to accomplish.  God gave Nehemiah a burden and passion to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.  He sought God day and night as this passion increased.  His next step was to build a plan.  He would need resources and a strategy to get this done.  As the events unfolded, he continually adapted by modifying his plan.  Planning and having a shared plan with your leadership team and workers builds unity, momentum and focus.  Part of building a plan is to think through strategic resources available to you.

This section of the website is devoted to resource church workers with strategic resources.  Some ministries can best be accomplished by partnering together as district churches.  Others will be accomplished better at the local level.  The design of this web resource is to give you easy access to the following:

• District Programs Available to Alliance Churches
• District Church Resources that are being shared with other churches
• C&MA National Resources
• Links to Evangelical Resources

It is our hope that this section can be a clearinghouse of great ideas that will stimulate your thinking as you develop a strategic plan for your ministry.  You are invited to participate in the formation of these pages by contributing your ideas and programs that have worked for you.  There is a tab for sharing your information.  A form will appear that you can complete and submit for posting.  The ideas will then be posted by category for easy search and access.

Some of the best ideas about ministry are being formed right now in the local church within the District.  You are encouraged to strengthen the wider church by sharing what has been strategic for you and becoming available to help someone else be more effective.
